13Forever Program

Serra Sterling Heights is proud to support 13Forever, a local organization whose mission is to make a lasting impact in the fight against pediatric cancer. Their team is committed to providing hope and support to pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Toys for Tots

With your help alongside the Marine Toys for Tots Program, we are able to bring hope and share the magic of the holidays with less fortunate children across the country.

This December, we are collecting new and unwrapped toys for children in need. You can find a Toys for Tots box located in the New Car Showroom and Service Department here at Serra Chevrolet Sterling Heights. Together, we can help bring joy this holiday season to children who are less fortunate.

Sterling Heights Youth Baseball

Youth sports aren’t just about having fun and staying active. They also raise self-esteem, teach teamwork, and provide important life lessons.

That’s why the team at Serra Sterling Heights is dedicated to supporting children and teens in our community by donating sports equipment, uniforms, and even sponsoring clinics at our local USPBL Jimmy John’s Field.

Together, we can help empower our local youth both on and off the field.

Local Blood Drives with the American Red Cross

Since 2004, Serra Sterling Heights has hosted blood drives four times a year in partnership with the American Red Cross.

Even during the pandemic, when the blood drives could not be hosted at the dealership due to social distancing protocols, the team at Serra Sterling Heights continued their commitment by holding drives at various locations throughout the Metro-Detroit area, including Grace Christian Church, the Macedonian Cultural Center, and the Sterling Banquet Center.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, since 2007 we have collected 11,621 pints of blood for the American Red Cross. With every pint capable of helping 3 people in need, that adds up to 34,863 lives saved!

Pickups for Paws

If you have a pet, you know that it's not just an animal, but an important part of your family.

For every pet we do love and care for, there are many more that have found themselves scared and neglected without anyone willing to provide them with basic needs like food and shelter.

That’s why Serra Sterling Heights has proudly supported several local non-profit animal shelter and rescue groups like The Sparky Fund, Detroit Pit Crew, Serenity Animal Adoptions, and more to help in their efforts to save and rehabilitate our furry friends in need.

This June, the team at Serra Sterling Heights is continuing their efforts to help support by hosting a Dog Adoption Day on Wednesday, June 16th from 11:00am–3:00pm. Throughout the month, the team is also accepting donations to benefit Serenity Animal Adoptions. Learn how you can make a difference here.

Truckloads of Hope

Serra Sterling Heights has been able to deliver hope by the truckload by organizing donation drives to benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen’s Services Center.

Through their program, homeless individuals of Metro-Detroit are able to receive free showers while also having their clothing laundered. This creates a great need for shower supplies, towels, and anything that would make someone “feel human again.”

Thanks to the generosity of the Sterling Heights community, the team at Serra Chevrolet Sterling Heights has been able to deliver truckloads of much-needed shower supplies and household staples.

Season of Giving

Over the last several years, Serra Sterling Heights has proudly joined forces each holiday season with the non-profit organization The Bottomless Toy Chest to help bring joy and hope to pediatric cancer patients of Metro-Detroit.

With donations of toys like activity kits, action figures, Legos, and more, together we are able to help bring much-needed smiles to the faces of sick children with serious illnesses like heart disease, kidney disease, and Sickle Cell disease.

Haulin’ For Heroes

Did you know 300–400 men and women are deployed from our local Selfridge Air Force Base at a time?

The team at Serra Sterling Heights was honored to collect a variety of items like travel-size toiletries and Michigan-made snacks to build each deployed hero a special customized Deployment Care Package — a small yet meaningful token of our gratitude and appreciation for their service.

Judson Center

Serra Sterling Heights is proud to have supported the Judson Center, a local organization that provides therapeutic, behavioral, and support services to improve the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

Supporting Sterling Heights Police & Fire Department

Serra Sterling Heights is proud to support the men and women who help keep our community safe.

Through donations like Stop the Bleed packs and their Chevy Blazer Core Community Vehicle, we are assured our Firefighters and Police Officers have the tools they need to serve and protect our STERLING HEIGHTS community.

Cell Phones for Soldiers

Making a difference in the lives of our troops and veterans has never been easier.

The team at Serra Sterling Heights is proud to be an official drop-off location for Cell Phones for Soldiers.

Through this program and the donations of used cell phones, veterans and military personnel are connected to their family members.
